By applying for full membership of RWPN you are stating that you are a qualified Vision Rehabilitation or Habilitation Specialist and, as a consequence of this, that your name will appear on our public-facing professional register. By applying to join as a full member/registrant you are stating:
Acceptance of membership rests with the membership secretary, once proof of qualification is received. If your application to join RWPN's register is turned down, we will provide you with the reason in writing. You can appeal this decision and should contact us, in writing, with your reasons. Our decision will be reviewed by RWPN's Registration and Professional Standards Committee and they will contact you directly to arrange this.
Please note - if you would prefer to pay quarterly by standing order (£22.50 per quarter/£15 per quarter NI), please email email@example.com and we will send you a personalised standing order mandate for your bank once you have completed the stages below.
HMRC has stated that you can claim income tax relief in respect of the membership subscription fee (for members who fill in self-assessment forms). This was effective from April 2017
Renewals RWPN membership runs from January to December of each year (applications welcome at any time during the year and the fee will be pro-rated). Upon renewal all members will be reminded to reacquaint themselves with the stipulations of membership and registration.
